Take a moment to enjoy the olive tree growing near the entrance to the Museum. Let it bring to your mind deeply felt wishes for peace among all peoples. Stroll around the exterior of the Museum and notice the beautiful brickwork. The design is derived from a Klickitat Basket. Traditional basket weavers intentionally weave an imperfection into their work as a signature. Like a traditional basket, a bit of brick design is purposefully out of design.
